Heads up, your resume is titled wrong

Hey friend,

Checking in quickly from Friedrichshain (a neighborhood in East Berlin, keep up n00b) this Saturday morning.

As you know from Instagram-stalking me, I've been to Bordeaux and now Berlin since we spoke last. Threw myself an epic birthday party on Thursday night. Things are good, and I am happy.

Easter is actually a 4-day weekend in both Germany and the UK, and 4-day weekends are always a prime time to get some job searching stuff done, so I wanted to shoot over some really useful resume advice I heard this week from a recruiter.

Literally, she said to me: "Are you sending an #ELB newsletter this week? Please can you tell everyone this, it's an emergency...."

Hey friend,

How are you?

I've already been to Seattle and back this week, and am now clutching ginger tea in my kitchen, a broken shell of a jet-lagged woman.

Workwise, it was a productive three days. I even snuck in a shoot for updated #ELB photos on Monday night with my favorite Seattle-based lifestyle photographer.

(What, like you don't have one?)

But while I was out there, something weird happened, and I'm trying to process it.

An important reminder

Hey friend,

Writing you from a coffee shop in East London tonight, after a day of working from home and a lot of laundry.

The laundry was a must, you see, because I am doing a comical amount over the next two weeks. I'm headed to:

- Seattle for 72 hours for meetings, straight into
- Bordeaux for a girls' weekend, straight into
- Berlin for the week before Easter, just because

But it's good. Makes me feel like me.

Congrats, graduates!

Hey friend,

It's been a very busy few weeks around here. Most importantly:

The first #ELB School students of 2018 are #graduated, as of this past weekend!!

We spent the better part of two months together, working week-by-week through the job search process.

I was honored to work with some truly amazing students -- some of whom have already gotten hired into their perfect-fit jobs, and others of whom had big interviews this week (!).
