I don't owe that to you

Just had a total anxiety attack walking through central London. I was supposed to walk 16 minutes down the road and it took me 50 and I can't really tell you why.

I felt like I was getting swallowed whole. Like everyone else was in proportion, and I was only four inches tall. Like I was exploring a foreign land and I couldn't figure out where to take cover.

It was exhausting.

More thoughts on joining the circus

A couple weeks ago, I sent you a link to this Casey Neistat video called DO WHAT YOU CAN'T (and which now has 3.7 million views...).

It said what I couldn't figure how to say at the time about, as I put it, running off to join the circus.

See, as all my ride-or-die readers know, I am running three careers at once around here. My tech consulting career, my #ELB mentoring universe, and my music life.

And sometimes--especially with the music stuff--I get messages from you about the circus life.

Today's the day. #ENTRYLEVELBOSS is officially two years old. A sassy little toddler of a thing.

Since this whole project began as a video thing, I thought it should be celebrated today with one, too.

Sometimes there's just too much to express, and besides: it's nice to look people in the eye every once in a while.

I apparently said this to my assistant, Hannah, at some point last year and she cannot get enough of it. In fact, she even made a meme about it.

And today really just feels like the right time to drop it. #ELBturnsTWO

(I did mean what I said, for the record. In the same way that Jay-Z might protect and mentor a protege, as I aspire to do for you.)
