I am jealous of everybody this month. Do you ever go through that? The blind, rage-worthy envy thing?

I think I got a little triggered by my week o' past-life travel, and I guess that's not really a surprise now that I think about it. I physically, plunge-pool-style dunked myself into three alternative life paths over the course of seven days, which is probably enough to--as they'd say here in England--do your f*cking head in.

I'm in Berlin. Oh, good God, I feel like I can breathe.

Sitting in my normal chair, in my normal cafe, drinking iced coffee and eating blueberry coffee cake, writing the #ENTRYLEVELBOSS email at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, from the city where it first originated.

Like I told you last week, I'm here for less than 48 hours to shoot music videos tonight -- with the same old glorious crew that did Sitting Waiting Wishing and Colder Weather. We're planning to try and do a ninja shoot on the old abandoned airport tarmac turned beloved Berlin green space, Tempelhofer Feld.

I'm going to be traveling my way through, effectively, a lifetime of my personal greatest hits in the next week.

Line up?

Leeds this weekend: to sing a tune or two at my old bass player Tom's wedding. I think he was 19 when we met. Time is passing.

Berlin for next week: to create music videos for a Brazilian-Berlin music exchange I got invited to be a part of. Filming music videos -- especially in this city, with this particular film crew -- is arguably one of the greatest, most soul-fulfilling pleasures of my life....

Happy first week of the second half of the year. I’m finally back in London after a solid month of not sleeping in my own bed, and kinda feeling like I just moved here all over again.

Those that watched my Instagram Story on Saturday will tell you: I’m definitely feeling like the beginning of July is giving us a second stab at New Year’s vibes and reinvigorated resolutions.

It’s a second chance to say, “Welp, half this year has up and disappeared. What did I do with it? Where do I want to be by Christmas?”

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve never been much of a goal-setter.

Delighted to report that I've now been in the San Francisco area for almost two weeks and I did not, in fact, burn up on re-entry like I once thought I might have.

I've also actively avoided any part of town I used to frequent in 2013 but hey, baby steps.

I've spent the last two weeks working my way through a ton of info for the new gig, and I'll be happy to get back into the London rhythm next week.

During my stint in California, I've run into a handful people from various chapters of my life. Some pleasant, some inconsequential, some more... let's call them blast-from-the-past people.
