I'm Alexa Shoen: a career coach for ambitious job seekers (like yourself, hi!) who are looking for a cheatsheet on how to get hired in this crazy, modern world.
GET READY TO JOB SEARCH LIKE A CHAMP.
I know, I know. It doesn’t seem like there could possibly be good way to do this, does there? Let me tell you a story, though: When I was starting my own career, I racked up an impressive pile of rejection emails. In fact, I went through every quarter-life crisis in the book: The I’m-An-Unemployable-Graduate Crisis. The I-Hate-My-First-Job Crisis. The My-Second-Job-Isn’t-Going-Anywhere Crisis.
It took years of what felt like spinning my wheels with zero progress–but then, things started to turn around. I cracked the code. I developed a system. I created some heavy-hitter strategies for how to (1) find a job you like, and (2) actually get hired to do it. Strategies that are so good, in fact, that I just got a book deal to write an entire how-to manual that lays out my specific #ENTRYLEVELBOSS method of job searching.
So, if you've got that can't-breathe, can't-think, sending-out-27-resumes-a-week stress? The kind where you’re consumed from morning until dusk about how to escape your current job or, ahem, current lack of a job? Yeah, I'm here to bring all that nonsense to an end.
i want you hired way faster into a job you actually want.
